Rêve Consulting Manager, Business Strategy in Minneapolis, Minnesota

About the role

We are looking for a Manager, Business Strategy who will work with our clients and team members to develop strategies that translate needs into human-centered solutions. You will lead client engagements that range from developing new business models to reinventing a digital consumer experience. You will oversee the successful management of senior-level client relationships and groups of Rêve team members. Understanding pure-play digital and omni-channel businesses will be essential. This role reports to the Vice President, Client Services.

What you will do in this role

Understand our clients' needs and develop solutions

  • Build authentic client relationships

  • Identify, scope, and present proposals to address our clients' challenges

  • Structure engagements in collaboration with clients and Rêve team members

  • Manage the contract process with clients and Rêve leadership

  • Meet your annual revenue goals

Lead engagements that delight our clients and enrich our team members

  • Manage a portfolio of engagements inclusive of resource management and team member development

  • Prepare teams for client sessions through active management

  • Think on your feet and facilitate large groups of senior-level individuals in workshops

  • Foster collaborative and candid client relationships through trade-off discussions and change management strategies

  • Hold our team and our processes to a high standard while meeting our CXI and NPS goals

Innovate and teach others

  • Be the go-to person on the team who understands our overall methodologies and their application

  • Look for new methods, tools, and platforms to keep us on the leading edge

  • Lead internal projects that build our capabilities

  • Teach "the new" within the organization to increase our overall capacity

  • Build the Rêve brand externally through writing, speaking, professional organizations, and teaching opportunities

What we are looking for

  • Passion and proven ability to be in a client-facing role

  • Values-centered leadership

  • Committed to creating inclusive experiences and working in a manner that shows respect for diversity and equality

  • Deep understanding of design thinking, innovation, and strategy frameworks

  • Stellar research, synthesis, and storytelling capabilities

  • Experience in financial services and/or healthcare fields

  • Strong presentation and written skills

  • Ability to help others navigate complexity and ambiguity

  • Leading teams with different mindsets and skills

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in corporate or agency roles like Strategist, Brand Manager, Innovation Leader, or Product Manager. MBA a plus.

  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
