SCRAM CAM & Drug Testing Technician Job Code: 2021-CSCA-001 Location: Court Services & Community Alternatives Department: Milwaukee FT/PT Status: Full Time Job Responsibilities: Position Summary: This position has responsibility for all technical functions in regard to the WCS SCRAM CAM program, including installations, technical maintenance, assistance with inventory control, and de-installations, as well as all female drug testing within the Milwaukee County Pretrial Programs. This position is primarily responsible for the Ozaukee Pretrial Defendant and the Milwaukee Pretrial Defendants, report to the into the Justice Point offices. The position also is required to provide back-up coverage for all territories when needed. Essential Functions: CAM Technician Duties: Ensure SCRAM CAM participants are successfully enrolled into program according to SCRAM Systems policy and procedure guidelines. Provide daily case management for SCRAM CAM program participants that are referred from Milwaukee and Ozaukee County. Assist with client equipment maintenance, including bracelet readings, installations, and removals. Submit compliance reports to appropriate parties, including but not limited to, Judiciary, DA's office, defense attorneys, CAM participants, and pretrial supervision staff. Assist to review and resolve all scheduled maintenance and communication alerts. Collect and secure fees associated with Ozaukee SCRAM CAM program, while ensuring clients are following agency procedures regarding payments. Also report to APD weekly regarding progress on fee collection. Provide notification and follow up with customers and participants based on Daily Action Plans provided by SCRAM Systems. Maintain inventory and physical control of all SCRAM CAM equipment at Milwaukee County Safety Building, including changing clips, batteries, faceplates, and straps as required. Collaborate and coordinate with the Director of EM and the APD of EM and Drug Testing operations, regarding any concerns with the daily operations and the development of SCRAM CAM program. Work with all WCS program staff involved within the EM and Drug Testing Unit and all external customers, providing high quality customer service. Clean/Sanitize SCRAM bracelet inventory in accordance with SCRAM Systems procedure. Responsible for scheduling weekly or bi-weekly meetings with participants to inspect the bracelet and collect fees according to program protocols when applicable.
