Davidson family home. Join our team as a Lead Consumer Product Mgmt. Job Summary This position discovers and represents the Voice of the Customer in the development of new motorcycles from inception through launch and beyond. The Lead Product Manager seeks to understand the motorcycle market via primary and secondary research, including first hand motorcycle riding experience, in order to ensure the products on motorcycle Lifecycle Plan are innovative, aligned with the brand legend and represent customer wants and needs. A critical responsibility of the Lead Product Manager is to act as the primary product development project interface, managing accurate and timely communications with key stakeholders including sales regions, marketing and the product development community to support both input to the product plan, the development of the product and the successful launch of new product. Acting as the subject matter expert, the Lead Product Manager develops volume and financial forecasts for projects, balancing investments against enterprise objectives. This expertise supports the planning and development of new product offerings and ongoing product improvements consistent with global customer strategies, customer requirements, business strategies, enterprise plans, global opportunities and quality, cost, and timing targets that meet/exceed agreed upon goals.
