MILWAUKEE ELECTRONICS CORP Electronics Assembler in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Assemble & inspect electronic PCBs & box build electronic/electrical assemblies. Level 2 of 3 of Assembler classification. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Produce quality product with manual assembly processes such as stuffing, hand assembly, mechanical assembly, soldering (lead and lead-free), as well as some rework capabilities. Inspect to workmanship standards. Test electronic assemblies. Follow appropriate quality policies and procedures. Perform work to appropriate efficiency and utilization standards. Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities, supporting change and identifying ways to improve processes and efficiency. Build product as directed by Team Leader/Supervisor. Actively participate in work group/team activities, as an enthusiastic, positive and dependable team member. Maintain a clean and safe work area and environment. Provide input to problem solving process and possess good communication skills. Other duties as assigned. The work performed in this job can only be done on site and attendance is an essential function of the job. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Able to perform basic data entry transactions. Must achieve a passing score on the IPC Component Identification course. Must achieve a passing score on the IPC Workmanship standards exam. Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications. REASONING ABILITY Able to understand and determine product quality to written documentation. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this position, employee may be seated or standing, based on their work station. Occasionally required to stand and/or walk; must frequently use hands to point, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include: close & distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
