And we are proud to support our employees volunteer interests, and make it a priority to join together in efforts that give back to our communities.Job DescriptionThe Antenna, Infotainment, Telematics Performance Group is responsible for vehicle level development and validation of antenna, infotainment, and telematics systems. In addition, the group conducts component testing on test benches to support their vehicle level testing.The group also works closely with the Design responsible organization and their suppliers to ensure that requirements are understood and met by the performance of the individual components and overall infotainment system. This position is based at the General Motors Milford Proving Ground with occasional visits to local suppliers and the General Motors Technical Center in Warren, Michigan.Maintain Validation Toolsets* Interface devices (e.g., ATT tool, etc.)* Obtaining unlock calibrations* Manage tool calibration certs* Test devices (e.g., phones, etc.)* Update as necessaryMaintain Validation Procedures* Collaborate with LSVE to track new feature requirements and technology* Develop, write, implement, and maintain global test proceduresManage Tuning Activities for All Programs* Be single point contact for supplier communication* Facilitate logistical discussions between vehicle responsible Performance Engineer (PE) and supplier* Collaborate with LSVE to develop new procedures around supplier interaction (e.g., making sure tuning reports are provided from suppliers after tuning, tuning/validation entrance criteria, etc.)Coordinate and Execute Validation Activities for All Programs* Work with PE to schedule development, validation, and verification activities (separate from tuning activities)* Validate Hands-Free calling and In-Car-Communication for all programs (PE to assist)* Validate WiFi features* Collect, catalog, and distribute vehicle noise profiles* Analyze and document data from tests* Produce and maintain test related documentation* Support root cause and solution of issues on development and production vehiclesCommunication* Participate in Global Validation Workgroup* Participate in Local Validation Workgroup* Report status of testing and validation activities* Participate in global workshare and commonization meetings* Communicate, coordinate, and consult with engineering departments and internal/external customer organizationsAdditional Job DescriptionQualifications:* Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Math, Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or Chemistry* Must have a va
