Job DescriptionRadian Settlement Services is excited to announce that we are currently hiring a remote Curative Title Specialist who is responsible for reviewing title commitments and identifying any and all issues which will prevent insurable title. In addition to our competitive salary, employee stock option plan and flexible benefit program we'll shower you with additional perks!Primary Duties and Responsibilities* Review title commitments and identify issues.* Update SOR with data findings on commitment and work efforts.* Due diligence and fact finding with client, prior servicer and-or foreclosure attorney as needed.* Obtain various documents from client, escrow-title and-or foreclosure attorney.* Communicate with any and all parties necessary to clear defect in title.* Relationship development with servicers, vendors, and co-workers to facilitate all title Curative - title clearance issues in a timely manner.Job SpecificationsKnowledge:* Strong knowledge of foreclosure process and other legal matters as it relates to real estate.* Strong knowledge of title issues and problem resolution of these issues.* Excellent time management skills* Ability to multitaskSkills and Abilities:* Read and understand real estate contracts-purchase agreements.* Read and understand all closing-lender documents, including HUD 1 settlement statements and deeds.* Ability to negotiate reduction in fees as needed.* Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.* Strong communication skills.* High ethical standards.* Motivated, positive, team player.* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.* Ability to problem solve in a growing and expanding business.Why Work with Us* Our Company Makes an Impact.
