The Procurement Adoption Team (PAT) is part of the Intelligent Adoption and Consumption Center which supports SAP cloud lines of business as part of the overall LACE strategy. Procurement Adoption team members work directly with customers post-deployment to achieve value and maximise consumption which in turn delivers: renewals, references, upsells, and increased NPS, in-line with SAPs customer first strategy.The Adoption Advisor in this role will work closely with the CE&X account management team and additional cross-functional teams primarily focused on SAPs Ariba and Fieldglass solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a member of the PAT you will support the delivery of customers business outcomes by driving solution adoption in the following ways:
Act as the liaison between the Front Office and the Intelligent Adoption & Consumption Center
Work closely with the Market Unit (MU) RVP to develop account portfolio strategies to drive adoption aligned with customer renewals
Lead critical customer engagements within the MU to ensure customer success
Through data insights develop strategies to support pipeline account planning
In-depth 1:1 customer engagements
Review customer business objectives, procurement processes, and Ariba/ FG solution usage and then craft and deliver tailored recommendations and an executable strategy to enable the customers desired business outcomes
One-to-one sessions with a customer focused on delivering a solution to a pre-defined and existing use case to enable further adoption
Support regional scale liasons to increase adoption of scale and value content
Create scalable knowledge and adoption content to be leveraged by customers, account managers, consulting, and partners to advance customer objectives
Some examples of content include: hands-on lab scripts, how-to videos, and Value Accelerators
Knowledge content that is scalable allows us to reach and assist many customers across all geographies and enable customers to utilize the full extent of features and functionalities imbedded in the solutions that will drive costomers desired outcomes.
Strategic Events participation
Customer Success Days / Adoption Labs deliver expert advice and impart knowledge to customers in a 1:many setting serving many customers during one customer-themed event.
SAPPHIRE, SAP Forums, and related events: knowledge delivery as well as 1:1 expert sessions with customers
Support PAT Development
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PAT team by sharing knowledge, best practices, process improvements, and case studies of completed engagements with your colleagues across the globe.
Deep technical and functional expertise in SAP Ariba / FG solutions and network products
Fluent in English; additional languages preferred
5 years related professional work experience
5 years customer-facing experience
Ability to quickly establish credibility and foster trust-based relationships at all levels with customers
Desire to work in a collaborative team environment
Ability to travel up to 50% (currently at 0% due to Covid-19)
Deep understanding of corporate procurement, sourcing, accounts payable, and finance processes
Ability to support multiple time zones, continents, and cultures
