Coordinates, monitors, administers, and services technical environments. Completes implementations, carries out integration activities, and provides operational support for technical environments.Responsibilities:• Document problems and resolutions in organized technical detail including problem, cause, and solution• Execute service requests from service catalog• Operate and maintain high speed online printers for large scale computer operations• Perform test, configuration, environment and preventive maintenance activities• Identify, create, update and adhere to applicable standards and procedures• Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, escalate and/or resolve technical problems• Monitor, troubleshoot and analyze systems/applications• Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions• Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:• Ability to document and apply policies, standards and procedures• Exposure to validating system availability and performance• Familiarity with enterprise systems, terminal knowledge and IT terminology• Familiarity with technical inter-relationships between software/hardware and desktop/LAN/Host systems• Familiarity with MVS and JES2 commands• Basic skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions• Basic skill in producing desired results and achieving goals and objectives• Basic skill supporting a global 24/7, member/customer focused services operation• Basic verbal and written communication skillsDesired Qualifications:• CCNA, or related certificationsHours: 6:00AM - 6:00PM Rotatiing Schedule & every other weekendLocation: 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22820
