Summary:
The Global People Operations team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. Leading with care and empathy, we develop efficient and simple people processes, systems, policies, and programs. We deliver data that is useful and accurate to create People-related strategies across the business. We develop technology-driven solutions to scale and automate common employee activities. We manage people knowledge and build project management capability across our company. Our work also ensures Facebook remains protected and compliant. We strive to ensure employees feel heard and given the resources and support they need during the most important moments during their careers.This role is responsible for the vision, planning, development, and operation of our company-wide learning management solution, Cornerstone OnDemand. The successful candidate will work to drive optimum learning efficiency, experience and scale by working closely with enterprise learning, operations, product, and engineering teams. You will guide the learning management program roadmap by defining business requirements and problem statements, organizing cross-functional initiatives to address those, and keeping leaders and stakeholders informed on progress.
Required Skills:
Oversee program management for the learning management system, Cornerstone, across people, process, and technology areas
Partner with people/learning leadership on developing program objectives, strategy, resourcing, success metrics, and roadmaps
Provide ongoing program updates and reporting to stakeholders
Prioritize business requirements and problem statements
Partner with product and engineering teams on design, development, and delivery of learning management solutions (e.g., updates to the survey experience, custom attendance tracking solutions)
Partner with Cornerstone OnDemand to ensure requirements are met, influence the CSOD product roadmap, and ensure Facebook is leveraging the right capabilities mapped to our learning experience vision and enterprise architecture
Lead cross-functional community of practice for LMS admin community and stakeholders
Respond as key escalation point to issues, bugs and address stakeholder feedback with urgency
Continuously seek out process improvements cross-functionally to create best possible learning experience
Consult as the subject matter expert with partners and users to find fit-for-purpose solutions
Keep current with Learning/HR tool trends and developments and apply learning to improve internal tool and processes
Ensure appropriate integration of LMS solutions with other parts of the Facebook learning ecosystem
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in learning technology, including familiarity with common platforms (LMSs, LCMSs, LXPs, etc.)
Experience working with Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD)
Experience in developing a learning technology strategy and leading execution against it
Proven systems and problem-solving skills, including an experience thinking through workflows end-to-end to develop improved solutions
Experience working with both engineering and end-user groups to identify, prioritize, and scope tool/system requirements
Proven communications skills (e.g., slide decks)
Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups to implement tool/system changes
Project management skills
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
Experience toggling back-and-forth between strategic and operational needs, and understand when either is needed
Experience working independently with minimum supervision and lead multiple projects simultaneously involving various groups/locations/vendors
Proven organization skills, attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong process improvement background or certification
Proficiency with data and analytics
3+ years experience working in traditional learning roles (instructional design, facilitation, etc.)
