First Horizon RPA BUSINESS ANALYST in Memphis, Tennessee

Support the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Center of Excellence (CoE) by identifying processes that can be simplified, digitized or eliminated by use of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and produce Process Definition Documents (PDD’s). Identify opportunities for process re-engineering and lead cross departmental teams to achieve process improvements.


  • Analyze business processes and identify potential automation opportunities

  • Work with the business process owners to develop a deep end-to-end understanding of processes targeted for automation

  • Create the PDD containing process details including a detailed Visio process flow diagram for the current process and the future process

  • Present PDD’s to process owners and obtain approval

  • Determine Return on Investment (ROI) for the processes

  • Work with the RPA development team throughout the process to ensure a proper handoff and successful build

  • Act as a liaison between business and technical resources

  • Update business process owners and other team members during project delivery

  • Define, initiate and lead enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives working with impacted stake holders leading to efficiency gains and cost savings and/or customer and employee experience improvement that may or may not include automation

Required Competencies:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems or related or 4 years related work experience

  • Experience facilitating cross departmental process improvement

  • Experience providing process documentation

  • Process Mapping (Desired but not required)

  • Project management experience

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in scenarios that are not well defined or structured

  • Strategic and analytical thinker, able to move seamlessly from high-level concepts to details and solutions without much guidance

  • Comfortable working with data and reporting tools

  • Track record of meeting and/or exceeding established goals

  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills; strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present in a clear and concise manner to all levels within the enterprise

  • SharePoint and advanced MS Office skills a plus
