We believe there's power in every drop of milk our farmers produce, and by improving production and finding innovative uses for that milk, we add a little good to people's lives.The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair in support of the facility and production equipment. In this role, the technician will work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and controls. Superior logical-thinking and troubleshooting skills are critical. This position is critical to the safe and efficient operation of the facility.HOURS: 2nd Shift1:00 PM - 9:30 PM*May be assigned to different areas and/or shift as production requires.*Weekend and/or holiday work will be scheduled as needed.HOURLY PAY RATE:$26.55Land O'Lakes, Inc offers a competitive salary and bonus potential. Associate's Degree preferred.PREFERREDEXPERIENCE:* 2 years' experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance* Experience with basic electrical systems, compressors, welding, conveyers, gearing, hydraulics, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps.* Prior diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience* Previous experience in a high-speed industrial work environment*Candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years of industrial experience in any of the following areas:HydraulicsCADPneumaticsElectricalMechanicalGeneral Maintenance workMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:* 18 years or older* Some experience with mechanical systems, utilizing product manuals, troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, and reading mechanical drawings.* Basic computer skills* Ability to follow manufacturer's specifications and direction* Ability to demonstrate knowledge in their functions and ability to troubleshoot and fix system issues is preferred* Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision* Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks* Communicates work order progress to supervisor and production operators* Customer focused and able to work in a collaborative team* Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule* 6 months work experience in any industryJOB DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:Job Purpose:Maintain a variety of plant equipment including pumps, motors, and valvesTroubleshoot mechanical and/or electrical issuesWork with production to facilitate repairsUnderstand the process in the plant to help with process improvementsJob Duties .and. Responsibilities:Actively participate in team safety efforts to achieve/exceed plant safety goals.Troubleshoot .and. perform preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment. Make necessary repairs .and. adjustments on machines .and. equipment during production to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.Provide training to employees and assist them so they can do adjustments and perform routine maintenance tasks.Perform and have knowledge of various welding methods.Monitors equipment status/when necess
