Staff Officer (Data Analytics)

Active Top Secret / SCI Clearance with CI Poly Required - No Sponsorship

Position Objective:

The Intelligence Group of TPGS is seeking a Senior-Level Staff Officer with a focus on Data Analytics to support an Intelligence Community (IC) program in Northern Virginia. An Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required for this position. The candidate will support Government staff in developing a broad range of written products in support of senior leadership and USG policymakers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Government staff in developing a broad range of products, establishing metrics, identifying and resolving data issues in support of the National Intelligence Manager (NIM) South Asia.

  • Establishes metrics, analyzes results and identifies trends for internal operational reporting.

  • Assisting Government staff with formulating and developing written products related to strategic initiatives and strategic fora.

  • Creating talking points, IC posture papers, and memorandums for senior• level meetings such as White House Principal and Deputy Committee meetings.

  • Maintaining situational awareness of a variety of AOR issues and related intelligence challenges and providing written or verbal responses (for Government review and approval) to policymaker requests, questions, and concerns.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated strong methodological, quantitative, and analytical skills.

  • Minimum of 10 Years work experience related to the analytic requirements.

  • Bachelor’s Degree related to the position requirements (i.e. statistics, methodology, business, economics, public administration, quantitative analysis, or a related field) or 4 additional years equivalent, related work experience.

  • Ability to provide concise, articulate, polished writing of analytic documents, summaries, issue papers, talking points, and briefings.

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph.

  • Minimum of 3 year working with or in the IC.

Desired Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree related to the position requirements.

  • Significant demonstrated understanding of the IC structure and individual agency capabilities and mission.

  • Proficiency in collaboration and coalition building.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in mission management.
