The Finance Business Transformation (FBT) team will drive strategic change to simplify business processes, accelerate decision making, and reduce inefficiencies in order to achieve measurable transformation within the finance organization and across the enterprise.

The Business Process and Testing Manager is a key role on the FBT team. This position is responsible for analyzing finance business processes and sub-processes to identify and execute opportunities for operational efficiencies as part of a Deltek Costpoint implementation project and beyond. Additional responsibilities will be to provide leadership in developing test cases and overseeing testing of Deltek Costpoint and other products. The Business Process and Testing Manager will be an integral part of the FBT team, while being positioned to have a continuing role in post-production support.

Position& Responsibilities:

  • Establish standard, repeatable processes for reviewing functional work-streams and for proposing changes and incorporating best practices into business workflows

  • Interact with stakeholders to understand business needs and to create and document business cases for projects

  • Help transform ideas into viable solutions through process changes and/or automation, incorporating downstream and upstream effects

  • Participate in business process management group efforts to collect and analyze metrics and continually improve processes owned by the group

  • Create storyboards and other communications to provide status and context to all levels of the organization

  • Provide expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of test scripts

  • Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives

  • Test solutions for performance and scalability

  • Triage and resolve issues for clients in a timely, efficient manner

  • Interact with business partners to set up meetings, gather requirements, write documentation and testing scenarios

  • Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable

  • Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date



  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or information systems preferred. Master’s degree a plus.

  • 8 years’ experience workingwith business process re-engineering, developing use/test cases and coordinating testing efforts

  • Exposure to cutting edge automation technologies (RPA, BOTs, etc.)

  • Relevant certifications (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, etc..) a plus

  • Experience implementing business policies and processes

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.)

  • Ability to challenge the status quo while working collaboratively with stakeholders

  • Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive and problem-solving approach to getting the job done

  • Ability to pay attention to details, produce high quality work products, and respond to changing priorities

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently, efficiently and persistently

  • Strong work ethic, willing to take ownership and proactively engage in continuous improvements

  • Strong team player with capacity to lead a team or work as part of a team
