Job Description

Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) focuses on adjusting current business processes to the new financial management system environment. The Contractor shall assist the Government in managing and overseeing BPR efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes and workflows impacted by migrating a financial management system to a third-party or DHS hosted solution with the objective of finding out how business process may need to be altered to conform to the new technical environment

  • Lead and facilitate process workshops and document any information elicited using process maps and business requirements documents

  • Assist the JPMO in documenting procedures and present new process designs to stakeholders for discussion

  • Provide advice and support to the JPMO on managing the implementation of business process changes

  • Educate management officials impacted by the change in business processes

  • Monitor, measure, and provide feedback on process performance

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen able to pass a government level background check and obtain a Public Trust.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Systems Science, Engineering, Math or a related field or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of IT Operations experience

  • Experience with Federal Financial Systems

  • Current or Recent experience supporting DHS
