Avantor, Inc. Inside Sales Manager in Mayo, Ireland
Here at Avantor, we are on the lookout for an Inside Sales Manager to oversee the success of the Inside Sales team for our Ireland operation.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of account managers that are responsible for customer experience and growing account relationships through initiatives, standards, tools, and training and support procedures.
You will also be responsible for leading the developing strategies focused on the customer relationship and overall revenue growth strategy.
What you'll do on a day to day basis:
Lead, coach and support a team of Account Managers.
Act as primary liaison for sales leadership to the Account Management team.
Participate in the strategic planning for the Account Management team in response to the changing needs of the business and our business development targets.
Responsible for staffing, training and facilitating performance management to actively develop Account Management staff.
Lead all Sales Operations activities.
Identify and collaborate with internal resources to help strategically align with customers.
Actively coordinate process improvement and communication cadence between account management and all other functions at the site.
Oversee activities, processes and procedures that improve the Account Management function to be more efficient, while helping to reduce complaints and service issues with customers and improving on-time delivery.
Oversee product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales lines.
Deliver sales presentations to key clients when necessary.
Support weekly/biweekly calls with customer and assigned Account Manager as required.
What you'll need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
8+ years of related experience in Account Management, Customer Service, or related
3+ years leadership responsibilites
Ability to lead a team
Ability to develop strategies in line with organizational goals
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office
