Hyatt Reservations Coordinator in MAUI, Hawaii

The Reservations Coordinator is an individual whose responsibilities include maintaining the reservation systems, preparing reports and analysis, as well as providing support to the Sales, Marketing and Reservation Teams. Highly organized, detail oriented, analytically minded, good oral and written communication skills are of the utmost importance. This Reservations Coordinator position will:

  • Assist the Director of Revenue Management and the Reservations Manager to optimize and manage room inventory to maximize availability and revenue potential

  • Take deposits, apply payments, reconcile payments, block/unblock units

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with outside vendors, S&M representatives, owners and other company partners

  • The Reservations Coordinator will have daily contact with internal personnel which includes reservations, sales, marketing, and revenue

The preferred candidate will have basic hospitality industry knowledge. Must be able to work independently and confidently and have a passion for technology platforms (Hyatt Reserve, Spring-Miller, SMS, etc.) Must possess a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast -paced environment.

The Reservations Coordinator needs at least 1 year of Hotel experience, familiarity with SMS, a plus. Be computer literate with a high-level command of Excel, Word and PowerPoint programs.
