We are excited to grow this business and hope that you will come aboard and grow with our team.At Green Meadows Paper Company, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Job DescriptionTo operate the single face section of the corrugator machine in such manner as to produce high quality level corrugated material.Primary DutiesVerify paper grades and width of roll stock before placing it on roll stands.Set glue dams for running correct width.Set correct adjustment on pressure roll and corrugating rolls.Check glue pattern on roll changes and adjust as needed.Continually maintains web lineup.Ensure correct glue level for proper pickup to applicator roll.Replace any worn or bent fingers as needed (cleans up prongs, auto guides, etc.)Clean out slots (corrugator rolls and glue rolls) as needed.Set up next flute change, well in advance, if possibleWhen changing flutes has new web on bridge ready to thread upAssist Double Backer Operator as needed to avoid down-time.Continually monitors quality of check board coming from single facer.Check all machinery for mechanical soundness and make sure all safety features are in good working condition and report all unsafe conditions to supervisor.Prepares roll stock for running with as little waste as possible.Set roll stock in machine to ensure a good lineup after splice.In charge of peeling rolls (minimum peel) with approved tool onlyEnsure all rolls are put in proper location by material grade.Administration of the different waste categories.Ensure all data reporting is accurate.Responsible for reporting temperature and viscosity dailyAssure perfect attendance and punctuality.Participate in month-end inventory.Maintain at all times the machine at expected housekeeping standards.Follow all safety rules and procedures.Participates in any extra curriculum (training and development) activity deemed necessary by management.Assists other departments and/or areas when requested by management/supervisor.Troubleshoot when operating issue on machine occur.Train other colleagues to pass on knowledge and expertise (which will include cross training as a Dry End Operator)Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules, and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. Green Meadows employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.Ability to be flexible with various situations.Other duties as assigned.<
