HOURLY PAY RANGE: ($15.00-19.46)
The Collection Center Technician is primarily responsible for the general customer service and patient care duties for the Collection Center. These include greeting and receiving outpatients, visitors and physicians, handling phone calls, calling results, generating admits into the hospital system for regional lab specimens, placing test orders, receiving and labeling specimens, answering questions from all customers-including regional labs, and maintaining various files.
Required:High school graduate or equivalent.
a) Graduate of Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program.
b) CNA with 2 years of hospital experience.
c) Current students in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technician, or Medical Laboratory Science programs.
d) Secondary education in job related classes such as Anatomy and Physiology, Introduction to Laboratory Science, Medical Terminology, Fundamentals of Laboratory Medicine, or Body Structure and Function. Verified through college transcripts.
Previous clinical experience in a laboratory or health care setting is preferred.

c. Proficient computer skills
d. Flexibility and adaptability.
e. Functions as a patient advocate.
Valid Driver's License
