Landscaping by J. Michael is looking for a Landscape Foreman that has a MLP (Massachusetts Certified Landscape Professional) to join our team!

We are locally owned and seek Green Industry Professionals to perform high quality work and with a strong belief in good business ethics to achieve our Mission Statement.
A great opportunity for an experienced foremen. Currently, we have several projects that require the foreman to be MLP certified. These are prevailing wage jobs and pay dollar in the market.
Provide high quality workmanship and techniques used in the industry.
Ability to mentor crew members to aspire on becoming certified and grow with the company.
Experience in all standard horticultural installation and care of trees and shrubs.
Ability to install hardscape walks, walls and patios to ICIP specifications.
Oversee 1 or 2 crews simultaneously.
Ability to operate skid steers, loaders and mini excavators.
Troubleshoot, monitor, diagnose and treat insects, disease and physiological problems; select appropriate product or treatment for each.
Complete daily job reports, record all material used for project, track man hours and effectively communicate both to crew members and management.
Ability to use technology to assist in the scheduling and planning of work.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a foreman role is required.
Degree in landscape operations or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of irrigation systems.
Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Valid Massachusetts Driver?s License. CDL Class B preferred.
Ability to obtain a Hydraulics license within 120 days of employment.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
Ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
