Superior Watershed Partnership Program Manager in Marquette, Michigan

emThe Michigan Energy Assistance Program (MEAP) Project Manager (75% of time) will manage the daily functions of the MEAP grant. This include assigning, assisting and monitoring the daily work flow for energy assistance requests and program requirements. The MEAP Project Manager (25% of time) will assist the Program Manager with daily functions for Human Resource in the SWP Energy and Climate Office including hiring and interviewing staff, and enforcing company policies and practices. This position will serve to monitor the MEAP employees and program as a whole to ensure that the grant is being fulfilled to its highest potential. /emem/ememThis position requires leadership, communication, scheduling, critical thinking, patience, tech savvy, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, team work and collaboration, scheduling, organization, customer service and project management skills./ememProject Manager Responsibilities:/emulliAssign daily tasks, set deadlines and provide resources to on-site and remote Case Workers/liliCommunicate with Case Workers and assist with workflow as needed to reach goals/liliMonitor employee productivity by providing useful feedback and training/liliKeep Case Workers on schedule to reach their daily goals and document progress/liliReprioritize goals when situations arise/liliHandle escalated customer issues/liliEnforce procedures and policies/liliQuality check SWP Salesforce system for accuracy/liliAssist the MEAP Accounting and Project Manager Assistance in quality checking energy assistance payment requests/liliMonitor and update Affordable Payment Plan data in Salesforce/liliTrack and monitor office equipment coming in and out of the office./liliAssist in managing the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding/liliAssist in development and present health and safety trainings for staff/liliAssist in creating/updating training materials to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities/liliInvestigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution/liliAssist in maintaining the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions/liliPrepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs./liliAssist in planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results to coach and discipline employees/liliScheduling meetings with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counseling employees/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulQualifications:ulliEducation related to Human Resources, Case Work or Project Management, Major/Minor empreferred/em/liliExperience in supervising others required/liliExcellent ability to communicate ideas effectively so others will understand/liliExcellent ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented verbally and in writing/liliAble to lead, motivate, persuade, be diplomatic, and maintain positive public relations/liliThe ability to get along with people of all ages and backgrounds and gain their trust/liliMental strength to cope with challenging situations and clients/liliAble to work quickly and accurately/liliAble to re-prioritize responsibilities to best serve the customer/liliTact, patience and understanding and mental strength to cope with challenging situations and clients/liliHighly proficient comp
