POSITION ANNOUNCEMENTPOSITION: Instructor, Brewing and Fermentation Production Technology The candidate selected for this position will serve as Instructor of Brewing and Fermentation Production TechnologyPrincipal Assignment: North Metro Campus. Employment is with Chattahoochee Technical College, not with a specific campus.POSITION DESCRIPTION: Instructor reports to the Associate Dean of Public and Professional Services and Digital Media Technologies and the Dean of Business and Technical Studies. Instructors perform all aspects of instruction in their functional areas. Instructors develop programs and syllabi, goals and objectives. They evaluate students' progress in attaining goals and objectives. They request and maintain supplies and equipment and prepare budget requests. They maintain program certification requirements, as appropriate. They prepare and maintain all required documentation and administrative reports. They attend staff development training, workshops, seminars and conferences. They ensure safety and security requirements are met in the training area. They meet with students, staff members and other educators to discuss students' instructional programs and other issues. Instructors also assist with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts. Instructors schedule and teach courses to meet students' needs, including at nontraditional days and times. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Five years in a leadership role in brewery operations OR An Associate Degree in Brewing/ Fermentation Production Technology AND Three years in a leadership role in brewery operations PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (In addition to the minimum qualifications) Appropriate Industry Credentials Bachelor's Degree in relevant field Postsecondary teaching experience Online Learning Management System experience Brewery software experienceSALARY/BENEFITS: Benefits include: paid holidays, annual leave, and the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits Program.
