Aerotek Quality Engineer in Manchester, Connecticut

We are currently recruiting on an immediate opportunity for a Quality Engineer with a top client of ours in the Medical Device Industry located in Manchester, CT. This is a full time, long term position that provides a great opportunity for professional growth.

Description :

The Engineer supports qualification projects for medical components, and maintains quality engineering programs, standards, and improvements within the organization. Will be responsible for developing, applying, revising and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.

  • Design and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment, measurement and analytical equipment, and facilities.

  • Devise sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.

  • Develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.

Here is some of what you'll need (required):

  • Quality engineering experience in a highly regulated manufacturing industry (medical, automotive, aerospace)

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field

  • Experience creating/writing various quality engineering documents, such as validation master plans, protocols, reports, pFMEAs, and control plans

  • Direct customer interaction experience
