The candidate must have experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of Windows and Linux Servers/Clients, PC Desktops, network devices and supported applications. Successful Candidates will have a thorough understanding of the US Government system accreditation process under Risk Management Framework (RMF). This may include one or more of the following guidance directives: Intelligence Community Directive 503 (ICD-503), Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) 1253, Defense Security Service Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM Chapter 8).
The candidate will be responsible for systems security, testing and system accreditation activities for multiple program areas. The candidate will apply information technology security principles and configure security settings, complete weekly system audit, apply security patches and conduct media reviews. Assist in the development and implementation of government approved information security procedures and plans for the operation of multiple networked and standalone classified computers, and coordinate government agency approvals. Consult on the design, development, integration, and analysis of classified computing systems with the programs and information systems security manager (ISSM). Assist with self-inspection reviews. Assist in conducting comprehensive investigation of computer security incidents, coordinating with other organizations for expertise.
In addition. the candidate must have government security experience in the following areas:
-Assist in the preparation and maintenance of security procedures for handling, storing, and records maintenance of classified material.
-Conduct security education classes for Lockheed Martin employees and contract personnel at RMS Manassas as needed.
-Provide oversight over all incoming visitors (classified and unclassified) and coordinate with International Trade and Compliance as appropriate for foreign national visitors.
-Prepare security section of individual Technology Control Plans for Foreign Nationals.
-Assist with classification determinations and challenges to applicable security classification guidance. Serve as a SME for Foreign Government Information related to the program.
-Assist in maintaining Program Security Plan(s) and ensure that all documentation is current and updated.
-Administer procedures to detect and deter the unauthorized introduction or removal of classified information at the assigned closed area(s).
-Administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
-Ensure appropriate security support is provided to Program Management.
-Coordinate Information Security issues with the Manassas FSO and ISSM.
-Coordinate onsite Allied Universal activities and interfaces within closed area.
-Assist with security investigations related to the program(s) when needed.
-Support Media Control Activities as needed
-Other duties may be assigned as appropriate.
Must be a self-driven and results oriented individual capable of multiple priorities under deadlines. Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skill to work with customers, employees and leaders at all levels within and outside of the organization. Must have the ability to support off-hour operations requirements as needed.
-Final in-scope Interim Secret Clearance and maintain DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
-Experience implementing the NIST SP800-53 Security Controls and performing continuous monitoring of system security controls
-Government Security Rep. Responsibilities
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
-Final In-scope Secret Security Clearance
-Previous experience as an Information System Security Officer or Government Security Rep.
-Experience with SPLUNK
-Experience with DoD Security Directives, Policies, Publications and Regulations.
-International Program Experience
-Excellent communications skills
-Possess the ability to work with multiple customers, and must be able to build and maintain effective team and customer relationships
-Possess strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and organizational, troubleshooting skills.
