The Team Leader plays an integral role in ensuring profitable growth through having a clear Category, Brand, Retailer & Customer strategy. Develop and support the relationship between Colgate-Palmolive and Direct and Indirect customers through a proper planning; helping them align category / brand strategies with the strategies of the customer, to ensure profitable growth. Responsible for the Business P&L, market shares, in-store execution, CD talent management & customers relationship
1.Responsible for Customers prioritization & Plans, 5P’s priorities by RE, promotional strategies guidelines and shopper solutions based on robust RE, shopper and customer insight.
2. Develop customers' investment strategy. Define and ensure that the investment strategy is executed properly with the customer, based on the “Payment for Performance". Implement and control that the investment is within the CP Terms and Conditions and consistent investment across RE’s and customers.
3.Ensure compliance with KPIs (Sales targets, Gross to Net/investment, DSO, Inventories) based on the strategy of the company, lead the definition of key actions to achieve the objectives for each team member and monitor the results.
4.Identify main issues and opportunities of the business, set objectives and implement plans to achieve goals, in alignment with the sales team, providing the Hub with a good understanding of the local business and influencing the Hub in order to receive the support needed.
5.Lead sales team and facilitate collaboration between different areas (Retail Mkt) to achieve goals and achieve sustainable and profitable growth for business and Customers. defining strategic actions.
6.Ensure SOM growth in all categories, develop action plans with local and regional support in order to implement actions and solutions and convert category plans from each RE in customer business plans that maximize results.
7.Support CDEs/CDMs to influence Customers, make decisions based on analysis and improve service through the use of new information systems: Nielsen, Kantar, ITT Sales, SO/Inventory reports.
8.Customers guidance to generate profitable growth, through T2T meetings and periodic business reviews in order to balance needs and objectives.
9.Develop the next generation of Talents for the commercial organization, ensure the people have the right training , clear career plan, and required tools to be successful. Provide timely feedback for team development and the achievement of business objectives.
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or Industrial Engineering. Preferably master degree in BA, Marketing, Finance or related
8-10 years of previous experience in commercial area of Consumer goods Company with 3-5 years of experience in the indirect trade (Traditional Channel)
Previous experience managing direct reports
Advanced English proficiency, both oral and written
Microsoft Office & internal programs knowledge (SAP)
Financial Knowledge (Gross to Net, ASP, Margin, Profitability)
