Position Summary

The US Air Force requires full-spectrum Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support to staff a portfolio of Special Access Program (SAP) Information Technology (IT) efforts within the Advanced Technology Branch of the Special Programs Division. This specialized A&AS support is required to develop, integrate, test, field, and sustain SAP IT networks and services across the Air Force SAP community.


Duties include, but not limited to:
Work with help desk technicians with daily scheduling of VTC conference
Maintain database for all VTC user sites
Provide maintenance support to analyze, isolate, and correct operation faults on secure video teleconferencing (VTC) system and encryption devices
Conduct quality assurance test to identify project failures
Review documentation to ensure that it meets testing standards
Install, Test, Repair, and maintain equipment for racks; fabricate cables, conduct preventative maintenance
Schedule VTC's
Perform site surveys
Provide reports and other information upon request of PM


TS, SCI eligible (w/ current investigation within the past 6 years)
Bachelor's in Information Systems with minimum 5-10 years of experience
Knowledge of IP video teleconferencing required
Configuration and maintaining Windows 2012R2 OS servers, Domain Controller and DNS servers, and Logrhythm servers
Guide and assist CMSEC CRO's
SAR/SAP experience desired
Configuration and maintain GEM X Encryptor Manager server
Level III troubleshooting of components
Required to system engineer secure Video Teleconference system to ensure compliance
Bachelors in Information Systems with a minimum 5-10+ years experience
Knowledge of H.323 and SIP standards
Previous experience installing large scale VTC infrastructure network and end use VTC systems
knowledge of various types of brands of encryption devices
Knowledge of LogRhythm software recommended
Frequent travel (CONUS) required (6-10 days a month)
