Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, attend to the receipt, storage, packing and disbursement of materials and products required by internal and external customers; evaluate workload; delegate and prioritize tasks for Shipper Receivers.

  • Group Leader for Shipper Receivers.

  • Release and prioritize daily customer orders for Domestic and International Distributors.

  • Work closely with customer service to prioritize orders and resolve shipping issues.

  • Prepare daily reports and update Gemba board

  • Run OTD reports through-out the day, and work with the production supervisors to ensure product ships on time.

  • Select and create appropriate packing for transport to destination.

  • Keep work areas clean and orderly to optimize material flow using 5S.

  • Back up Shipper Receivers as needed; become fully cross-trained

  • Maintain records and data files, and analyze resulting error patterns

  • Confirm all orders that are picked are shipped

  • Continuous improvement through the use of Envista Business System tools.

  • Perform End of Day transactions for all carriers and ensure the dock is clear

  • Monthly Accounts Receivable transactions verification

  • Perform other related projects and assigned tasks as requested

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proven leadership abilities.

  • Knowledge of international shipping methods

  • Must be detailed and accurate.

  • Ability to communicate with various levels of the organization in a professional manner.

  • Experience in (ERP) Enterprise Resource Planning systems (Oracle preferred)

  • Forklift experience; in-house certification will be required

  • Solid math and computer skills

  • Physically capable of lifting and handling up to 50 pounds

  • Solid Excel and Word skills

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in shipping.
