JOB REQUIREMENTS: Radiologic Tech - Mammography (Part Time, 70% FTE) - University Hospital - 8802 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Join our team and be part of the talent that makes UW Health the best work and academic environments! We are seeking a Radiologic Tech to: * Perform a wide variety of routine, complex and specialized procedures under the general supervision of the section Team Lead and Radiology Manager. * Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. * Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures. * Coordinate and actively participate in the training of other Imaging technologists, fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and assist in training other Imaging technologists. Work Schedule: 70% FTE, 28 hours per week. Scheduled shifts are between the hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with floating days off. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Preferred - Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Work Experience: Minimum - Previous healthcare experience. Preferred - Two (2) years of clinical experience. Licenses and Certifications: Minimum - Certification by appropriate body (ARRT) and valid Wisconsin Radiological License. CPR certification required within 3 months of hire. Mammography certification within 30 months. Preferred - Mammography certification.
