SSM Health Product Implementation Analyst in Madison, Wisconsin

  • Assists in the development and maintenance of the product implementation lifecycle, requirements, test execution, test design and documentation, as directed. Supports day to day activities related to product development and implementation.

  • May represent product implementation on small to medium size projects with oversight from supervisor.

  • Key in export of plan, rate, and product business rules to other non-DHP systems. Performs analysis activities on systems outside of DHP to understand how to interface with them, and serves as a key department SME.

  • Supports new product implementation with build and test for new business product and rate activities. Key resource for all configuration activities in support systems for product and rating, and launching of new rating algorithms and rate tables.

  • Supports the ongoing development of standard methodologies and repeatable processes for upgrades, changes, and annual product cycles. Supports some renewal implementation efforts with build and test of existing product and rate activities and completes product line documents, as needed.

  • Key resource to design and execute testing of rates and/or product attributes. Acts as thought-leader in analysis and testing techniques and ways to streamline workflows. Key resource for testing QHP and other filings, and reviewing information in plan preview or other testing scenarios. May review results of outsourced capabilities, internal systems, and execute specific configuration tasks or testing tasks, as assigned.

  • Function as a go-to resource to help design workflows and methodologies using SharePoint for managing data and information, and ensuring quality.

  • Engages in customer experience projects and activities, and helps create awareness of issues, working with business areas, and the organization as a whole, to improve customer satisfaction.

  • May act as a SME for Product on a variety of implementation teams for efforts related to product systems. May support Product input on any line of business for submissions to CMS or other Vendors for product area.

  • Supports Product to Operations and Product Strategy Team implementation activities, research, discovery and documentation to support business-wide decision making, as assigned.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree


  • Four years’ healthcare, insurance, financial, or software experience in a role requiring significant system knowledge


  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

  • Rare climbing.
