In this role, you will manage multiple, international projects simultaneously. You are a specialist in electrical power engineering and you will join a team of experts who are passionate about making the world a more sustainable place through renewable energies. What you’ll learn & achieve:
You will manage the electrical engineering aspects of high profile Independent Engineering and Technical Advisory projects (project financing, tax equity, sales and acquisitions of wind and solar projects and portfolios)
This will include reviewing electrical designs and electrical power systems, as well as various documents (procurement and construction contracts, interconnection agreements) and keeping track of the project construction schedule, and project CAPEX costs
You will conduct on-site visits (according with UL’s safety policy), to ensure compliance with plans and specification, good construction practice and adherence to QA/QC programs
Following up on that, you will also report the key results of your visit/design review during meetings with external and internal stakeholders
And you will prepare detailed reports on electrical design reviews, project assessments and construction monitoring
What makes you a great fit:
You have an academic background in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems engineering
You have gained about 5+ years of experience in the renewables sector
Thanks to your excellent communication skills (written and verbal), you effectively communicate highly complex engineering, constructional and operational issues
Fluency in English; additional languages (French, Spanish, German, Arabic, Turkish) are considered a plus
You have a valid driver’s liscence
