Coordinator of Business Operations
Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.
- HDFS BUSINESS OPERATIONS:
Complete space survey
Property Inventory – maintain current files of surplus and inventory equipment for department and centers
- P-card reconciliation and posting of all cards for department and centers
Process work order requests, key requests, locks, and/or phone changes as needed
Order supplies and/or furniture as needed
Process - PO’s, Direct Pay’s, Cost Transfers (provide Business Manager with a copy of all expenses for posting/reconciling operations)
Provide business operation support for CAR, CDRC, and CEHS
- Support Department Faculty, Centers, and Staff as needed for the following:
Assist as back-up with greeting visitors, answering requests, and managing phone calls
Maintain departmental calendar, email distribution lists, online directories, etc.
Maintain current emergency contact information for the department and its centers
Coordinate, track and follow up on the status of all new course offerings (general and online), proper filing of such and organization sharing establishment of new courses with Business Manager who will establish the FOP and set the budget
Organize meetings and specific events as requested
Conduct or oversee the management of office space assignments, coordinate office furniture telecommunication set up/moves, key requests, room requests, etc.

Other duties as assigned
- Course Scheduling/Special Instruction Fees – Fall/Spring and Summer Semesters:
Process Special Instruction Fees for each semester working with program directors and the Chair to ensure all course offerings are represented confirm revenue will yield into the correct FOP obtain approval signature by all (HDFS, CDRC, and CEHS) before submitting to college
Coordinate and schedule teaching assignments each semester sharing the final document with Business Manager and HDFS Chair to ensure funds will be available and ensure appropriate planning for all teaching needs
Coordinate, schedule & maintain lists of classrooms and classes for undergraduate and graduate courses, which includes listing instructors, times, and room assignments in Banner

Collect all book orders from faculty/instructors prior to the beginning of each semester and submit them to Book Store for ordering
Minimum Hire Rate:
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

High school graduation plus five (5) years progressively responsible related experience; additional related education may exchange for the required experience on a year for year basis.
