TEKsystems Deployment Technician in Lowell, Massachusetts

This is a longer term contract with no end date in site, this will be a Mon-Fri 40 hour week role. Please let me know what kind of rate you are looking for and we can discuss. This is a fully on site role and reliable transportation is expected.Description:

Technicians will be working in Head End facilities doing deployment work throughout the Greater Boston region - may include the Cape and Islands. The work will include, but is not limited too running CAT 6 & Coax cable, making fittings and creating labels. They will be expected to read and understand specifications, schematics, elevations and run lists.

Top Skills Details:

  1. Must have previous experience in Head End, Central Office, MSC, data center, commercial, or residential facilities

  2. They will need previous experience preparing, running, and terminating CAT 5, CAT 6, and preferred that consultants have experience with coaxial cable ends and installing proper connectors/fittings.

  3. Previous experience installing/decommissioning datacenter/headend equipment and rack/stack and cabling up the equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

They MUST be able to run wire and have had previous experience running wire from point A to point B.
