    Position description

The UCLA Honors Program unit seeks a lecturer for Winter 2022 (AY 2021-22) to teach an upper division undergraduate seminar under Honors Collegium.

The Honors Collegium 70A course is designed for students in the College Honors program. Students engage in the historical and scientific study of genetic engineering in medicine, agriculture, and law. Students will also

examine social, ethical, and legal issues raised by new technology.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

• An earned doctorate from an accredited university

• College-level teaching experience

• Knowledge and training within the fields of biology, genetics, and related areas

• Experience in teaching writing and composition
