UCLA Health Dietitian, Per Diem in Los Angeles, California
Has responsibilities for the
medical nutrition therapy of inpatients in a specialized area like cardiology,
med/surgery, GI, renal, organ transplant, liver disease, neurology, head/neck,
oncology and critical care---from pediatrics to adult. This is a per diem coverage dietitian who fills in when needed when staff are out sick. Includes assessment, documentation, implementation,
monitoring and reassessment of the care plan. Conducts patient education, malnutrition/NFPE. Communicates with and works as a team member,
interacting with dietetic technicians, food service personnel, nurses,
physicians, patients and other health care team members. Qualifications
Preferred: at least one year of experience, preferably at an academic hospital.
Needs to be competent with malnutrition diagnosing and NPFE.
Strong computer skills
