What You’ll Do
• Lead efforts in automation and configuration management • Contribute to capacity planning and disaster recovery • Establish clear, documented standards for new processes and tool usage • Propose and implements system enhancements • Build out a cloud infrastructure (AWS) • Administer server, storage and networking systems • 24x7 (on call rotation) monitoring and management of all aspects of the production computing environment including configuration and job scheduling. • Collaborate with development team to established performance and stability of the platform
• 3+ years experience administering Linux & Windows operating systems • Expertise in AWS services using EC2, VPC, SQS, SES, RDS, EFS etc. • Expertise in PHP and Apache (LAMP stack application) • Monitoring and Management Tools (NewRelic or Similar) • Keep all existing installs up-to-date with the latest patches and OS versions • Continuous Integration/Continuous deployment experience (Jenkins/Hudson etc) • Configuration Management Tools (Puppet, Chef or similar) • Work closely with the development team to identify requirements and implement solutions • Deploy software developed by the development team to production • Manage system-level security of our servers • Manage DNS • Manage backup strategy • Strong scripting experience (Python or programming experience a plus) • Experience working in a fast paced Agile environment
