3rd shift: 11:00PM-7:30AM
Duties and Responsbilities
Manufacturing of medical devices along with troubleshooting, preventive maintenance (PM's) and repair of high volume automated equipment, all within a team environment. Must be willing to work on production line when no PM's/repair of equipment is necessary.
Diagnose/troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies to component level using digital voltmeters (DVM), schematics and online databases.
Perform critical machine alignments to ensure product specifications are met.
Data collection and recording of sample measurements on device history records (DHR).
Support manufacturing engineering as required.
Must be able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Support manufacturing requirements by performing production level duties.
Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, standard operating procedures, work instructions, quality system regulations, and good manufacturing practices.
The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Associate's Degree in electrical/mechanical discipline is a plus.
2-3 years of demonstrated working experience, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical assemblies/parts which include, but not limited to gear assemblies, bearings/bushings, electrical motors, pneumatics, and sensors.
Strong working knowledge of sensors, motors, pneumatics and mechanical assemblies.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read schematics, drawings and/or wiring diagrams.
Familiarity with Microsoft applications (word, excel, etc.)
Sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 45 pounds.
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and/or moderate noise levels.
Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.
Safety Shoes compliant with site specific policies/procedures must be worn in designated areas.
