  • Two bin or point of use material replenishment

  • Assemble material into kits, packages, lots, and units

  • Enter material transactions in ERP system

  • Prepare reports and note shortages/damages

  • Process Scrap and obsolete inventory from Packaging WIP locations as required.

  • Knowledge of backflush process.

  • Must be able to use bar coding equipment

  • Work with Production and Materials teams to resolve part discrepancies

  • Set up and maintain Packaging inventory carts to support daily shipments

  • May be required to interface with departments throughout the company

  • Use of pallet jack or fork lift may be required

  • Must possess good organizational skills, the ability to work well with others, good decision making skills, and the ability to think outside the box

    Essential Functions:

  • Material Controllers are sizing and labeling Bins to support production build plans

  • Bin strategy supports planner's production requirement and approved deviations with 0 instances of material put into improper bins

  • Material controls processes including BIN requirements are followed

  • Pick tickets are printed per BIN sizing and build schedule strategy.

  • Bins are replenished back to line within 24 hours.

  • Material scan be received onto the floor and used by production with no issues

  • Material controllers are on-hand to meet production material requirements


  • Knowledge of Lean Mfg initiatives, including two bin systems, 5S, and other problem solving techniques. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Associates degree or 5-7 years related equivalent work.

  • Knowledge or Microsoft Windows and ERP system based software required.

  • Strong math and analytical skills to solve inventory discrepancies.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • ISO training and knowledge required

  • Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds repeatedly
