Summary:

The Global HR Risk, Privacy & Compliance (‘GRPC’) Advisor team plays a critical role in assessing stakeholder and partner requests for alignment with global employment compliance requirements, data privacy standards and company/HR best practices. In this role, the GRPC Advisor will work directly with Engineering/Technology, Business/Program, Legal and Policy partners through an interactive process to assess and mitigate risk, offer solutions and ensure required documentation is in place. You will work within a global, fast-paced, and collaborative team that values engagement, initiative, and teamwork.

Required Skills:

  1. Clearly communicate technical or specialized HR compliance and data privacy concepts to partners and stakeholders

  2. Serve as a trusted advisor on new HR program, process, data collection/use and technology initiatives to ensure compliance requirements are built into the foundation

  3. Build strong relationships with key business partners to enhance the integration of compliance requirements into their processes

  4. Build and perform ongoing monitoring for structure, capability and control agreements, documenting follow-up and any remediation action plans to mitigate identified risk

  5. Develop and communicate an audit and review process and cadence as well as metrics and quarterly business reviews

  6. Increase awareness and alignment by embedding education/training/guidance in review and partnership opportunities

  7. Align partner strategies/objectives with RPC roadmap to better enable the business and help drive new compliance solutions

  8. Liaise with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and Legal partners (e.g. Labor and Employment, Privacy) to understand and track existing and emerging legal and regulatory requirements around the world

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years experience in Human Resources (HR Business Partner, HR Operations, or HR Program/Project Manager)

  2. 2+ years experience with HR Compliance, Data Privacy, or Paralegal related role(s)

  3. Experience performing compliance gap assessments and recommending appropriate adjustments to close any gaps, working closely with program/product owners

  4. Experience interacting both strategically and tactically with respect to the business needs of partners and their objectives while ensuring that compliance standards and industry best practices are maintained

  5. Experience with problem solving, including issue spotting, analyzing data/information and presenting conclusions effectively

  6. Experience communicating complex requirements and results effectively, in the business language most relevant to the stakeholder and issue at hand, at all levels

  7. Experience navigating the unique complexities of a fast paced and innovative environment, including prioritizing through ambiguity

  8. Experience working as part of and with remote teams, across time-zones and cultures

  9. Demonstrated experience leveraging PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to manage data and communicate insights, project updates etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field

  2. Specific experience with navigating Data Privacy, EEO, Affirmative Action and/or Work Authorization related regulatory requirements

  3. Cross-functional knowledge of HR operations for a global company

  4. Knowledge of best practice risk and compliance frameworks and methods

  5. Experience managing HR projects and developing HR standards

  6. Salesforce experience is a plus
