The Role The Global Markets Division is looking for an Analyst candidate to work within the EMEA Securitized Structuring / Origination team. The team is responsible for wrapping of FICC and EQ derivatives into securities, through on-balance sheet and off-balance sheet (SPV) issuers, predominantly focused on structured products and SPV repacks. Its main client base are asset managers, funds and insurance companies purchasing securitized derivatives for own account, as well as private banks, retail banks, online brokers and other distributors that provide structured solutions to high net worth or retail investors. Origination are a cross-asset class structuring team, working closely with partners from other structuring, sales and trading desks and various federation teams (legal, operations, engineering, controllers).

Job Summary & Responsibilities

  • Term sheet drafting, deal coordination and legal execution of a broad range of structured products

  • Regulatory, operational, tax, accounting analysis and structuring (with relevant Control groups) for bespoke transactions

  • Project management and contribution towards various platform build, product development and automation initiatives

  • Key point of contact for sales (or their clients) and trading on investment delivery formats (e.g. senior unsecured securities vs. OTC vs. repacks)

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related subject

  • Previous internship or full time experience ideally with a financial services firm

  • Pre-existing coding! experience in SQL / VBA / Python or other language preferred

    • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
  • Hands-on entrepreneurial approach and engineering mind set

  • Fluency in English required, further languages (German, French, Italian, Swedish, and other European languages) are preferred
