Goodwill Of Colorado Retail Sales Associate - FT - Northwest Littleton (W. Bellev in Littleton, Colorado

DescriptionPlease Note: This position will be full-time. Various Schedules areavailable. Please tell us about your availability. Ability to work eveningsand weekends is preferred. Our Retail Centers are open 9:00 a.m. to 8:00p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sundays.Pay: $12.32 Hr. In addition, thesepositions are eligible for paid time off in the form of vacation, sick,holiday, floating holiday, jury duty and bereavement leave.OBJECTIVE:The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customerservice by greeting customers in a welcoming manner and responding timely andprofessionally to customer inquiries. Sales Associates must help maintain awell-stocked and organized sales floor that meets company standards and beable to operate a point-of-sale cash register system to ensure quality ofproduct and pricing is accurate at the time of purchase.QUALIFICATIONS:* High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.* One-year retail sales or cash handling experience desired.* Must be accurate with numbers and general calculations and have anunderstanding of the value of different coins and US currency.* Must be able to use basic math such as adding, subtracting, andmultiplication.* Must be able to operate a computer-based cash register and credit cardmachine.* Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, bending and lifting up toeight (8) hours per day.* Must be able to work a varied schedule to include weekends, evenings andholidays with occasional overtime as necessary.* Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, managers,supervisors, staff and peers.KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:* Provide excellent Customer Service upholding company values.* Provide assistance to customers with questions, concerns, and purchases.* Provide accurate cashier transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawerusing a computer-based point-of-sale system.* Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by regularly cleaning andorganizing shelves and racks, picking items up off the floor, putting awaycarts or baskets, putting away returned or unwanted items and cleaningfitting rooms.* Provide a safe, organized, and well stocked sales floor to include thefitting rooms and coffee bar areas.* Cross-train in other departments or areas; act as a back-up for otherareas as required.* Perform all other duties as assigned.Goodwill is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to employing qualifiedindividuals including those with disabilities, protected veterans andmilitary spouses.Goodwill participates in E-Verify.
