An IT Business and Financial Systems Intern willassist in various areas related to business and financial systems within our Information Technology division. We’re looking for someone who can maintain a high degree of situational awareness to meet continually changing conditions with a fresh and adaptable approach. In this position, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside peers who are versatile, enthusiastic, and strive to push forward AECC’s mission.



  • The BFS intern will participate in one or more of the following projects -

  • Develop a web application with multiple prompts to return data based on SQL query results

  • Develop SharePoint pages using out of the box functions and LiveTiles vendor tooling.

  • Make program changes to existing applications using PHP, Javascript, HTML, RPGfree, etc.

  • Assist with building APIs and integrations for O365 applications

  • Build application wireframes for future development projects using Balsamiq wireframe tool

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.

  • Completed coursework or experience in developing data structures and/or database design.

  • Completed coursework or experience in writing programs using modern business application programming languages.

  • Technologically adept with moderate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.

  • Exceptional analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Extremely detailed and accuracy oriented.

  • Exceptional writing skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
