ConvaTec is transforming its business services, and has recently launched a new Shared Services Centre in Lisbon.

About the role:As the Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for hiring across all roles within the Lisbon GBS, predominantly within Finance and IT, however subject to adding further disciplines in the future.

Your key duties and responsibilities:

  • Working in conjunction with the Talent Acquisition team to fill all positions required for the Lisbon GBS, ensuring candidates are on-boarded on the required dates

  • In line with the recruitment strategy determining the best approach by which to fill the required roles – direct sourcing, recruitment agencies, job fairs, intern programmes

  • Taking candidates through the life cycle of the recruiting process including negotiating and closing offers

  • Screening and shortlisting applicants across all roles

  • Interviewing candidates as needed across all roles

  • Determining the interview process by role and notifying the relevant interviewers

  • Arranging language testing if required

  • Working to ensure a positive candidate experience at all times

  • Assisting with the booking of interviews both face to face and via Teams

  • Managing the process from offer to on-boarding internally

  • Supporting all administrative aspects of the employee on-boarding and off-boarding processes, as well as the master data records for Portuguese employees in Workday

About you:

You have worked in recruitment area, in an in-house role, also having experience within an agency, driving recruitment processes to success. You proposed local recruitment strategies, utilising social media and creating content in line with it. You have strong background in driving successful recruitment campaigns and volume hiring in an international setting.

Education/Qualifications

  • University degree education preferred

  • 5-7 years of experience in recruitment area, ideally from a mixed background in both agency and in-house teams

  • Experience of designing sourcing strategies and ongoing recruitment campaigns

  • Experience sourcing diverse talent and building inclusive recruitment processes and campaigns.

  • Knowledge of Finance and IT GBS roles would be attractive
