The Role: The Logistics team manages all facets of product transportation within the company. This includes importation of goods produced internationally, distribution of goods within the domestic network, import/export compliance, and vendor management. As a supply chain organization, we are focused on providing World Class service to the business by continuous improvement through analytics, reporting, and cost savings initiatives.
What you will be working on:
Track critical shipments with suppliers and maintaining in-transit reports
Discover, justify, and implement the most cost-effective shipping methods and schedules
Manage vendors on pricing and SLA’s and conduct QBR’s
Track KPIs and report on supply chain performance
Manage invoices including:
Creation and management of Open PO’s
Reconciliation of shipments with invoices
Creation of new Vendors
Collaborate with IT department for system enhancements
Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. Account restructure, route planning)
Who you will work with:
This role works with a variety of departments including, but not limited to warehousing, planning, buying and innovation.
What we’re looking for:
Experience in the logistics industry or related industry
Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning, warehouse management)
Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Strong attention to detail
Great interpersonal skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
