The facility employs just under 400 full time associates in a 5-shift operation, which encompasses 235,000 sq ft. along with 12,000 skus. ISO certified, our associates engage in BPS, CIP and 5S . The Shift Coordinator is responsible for all associates in a specific production area, during the specified shift. This person must ensure workstation coverage for absenteeism and move workforce to applicable positions based on production needs and the qualification matrix. Must have great interpersonal skills and a desire to lead others. Responsible for gaining and maintaining general knowledge of machines throughout the Value Stream - troubleshooting, making adjustments, set up parameters, etc. You are responsible for completing the required training measures as they are needed. You are responsible for maintaining the appropriate BPS Standards and 6S Standards. As a Bosch associate working in the Value Stream, you are expected to maintain a positive work environment by following the appropriate safety procedures. You must be open and willing to lead and assist others throughout the department. You must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours a day and also have excellent use of your hands.
•Runs and coordinates the shopfloor based on production needs, with overall shift responsibility to reach daily targets and escalate in case of deviations.
•Overall shift team coordination, ensure workstation coverage for absenteeism or move workforce to applicable positions based on production needs and PQT matrix
•Manage/track vacation, overtime announcement and coordination to create OT schedule, update and track the daily exception report for Time Analyst, post weekly absence occurence report on bulletin board
•During startup, learn first hand the process and to support to develop the local work instructions and standards. This position may require overseas travel for training.
•Process & machines setup activity
•Actively communicate with the related departments (Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, etc.).
•Train and monitor new production associates working on the specified shift and provide timely and effective feedback when required.
•Will be responsible to operate, adjust, change-over, maintain multiple machines, set-up parameters, quality checks, conduct 5S and aid in trouble-shooting/maintenance.
•Shop orders, packaging, raw material management on SAP
•Flexibility to ensure adequate work coverage.

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school required, Technical or Vocation Schooling a plus.
5 years previous experience in metalworking manufacturing, with cutting tools manufacturing being a plus
Experience running with HMI/CNC interface and alongside robots.
Use of SAP for manufacturing / warehouse
Ability to learn and understand new processes, machines and technology.
Identify and assess common problems with machine, trouble-shooting.
Read and follow standard operating procedures
Flexibility to work in different shifts and overtime
Ability to stand and be mobile for 8-12 hours
Proper hand dexterity
Comfortable working in confined spaces
Ability to read and follow instructions
Ability to read and prepare orders
Ability to lift (up to) 40 lbs
Able to read product prints and check product to match.
Proficient in the use of measuring devices.
Understand and follow procedures pertaining to machine cleanliness and tool organization.
Experience with driving forklifts, walkie-stackie
