Provide andquot;hands-onandquot; personal care support to individuals with mental illness and assist with cognitive, physical, emotional and social skill-building to help them become as independent as possible in the community as they learn to manage and improve their level of functioning. We will train you in what you need to know to even take on supervisory responsibilities as you gain experience. The ideal candidate is patient, loves to teach and support the learning of others, has interest in the medical field, works well in a team environment and loves the challenge of problem solving/trouble shooting. Most positions require advanced training in administering medications, which New Vitae provides. Minimum requirements to be considered for the position: High School Diploma/GED.
