KeyMark Business Development Representative - Blue Prism RPA in Liberty, South Carolina

DESCRIPTION:The Business Development Representative for Customer Growth is responsible for identifying, facilitating, and creating sales opportunities that deliver active sales opportunities that are closeable in 3-9 months and align with quarterly team goals. The BDR generates activity primarily via outbound prospecting. The BDR will use email, social media, and other internet resources to generate business opportunities. There will also be responsibility for managing existing customer accounts. The person in this role will generate new opportunities for the RPA Sales group to meet/exceed goals of the entire team while also meeting/exceeding personal sales targets.


  • Independently initiate calls with leads, prospects, and existing customers with a goal of a qualified Discovery Call for the assigned Account Executive

  • Gather information and assess needs and requirements, educate the contact on our full range of product offerings, and determine viability of a sale prior to passing to Account Manager or Director of RPA sales.

  • Maintain purposeful, regular contact with identified prospects to add value and drive prospect towards a sale; regular contact includes emails, phone calls and other relevant activities

  • Generate new qualified lead prospects by developing a target list of customers and executing calling and email campaigns on behalf of the Director and/or assigned Account Executive

  • Generate sales leads and opportunities at tradeshows. Engage trade show participants and ensure proper lead follow up after the show

  • Accompany and support other Account Executives at onsite customer meetings by being an active participant.

  • Regularly and accurately update all internal systems on all activities

  • Coordinate transition call for Account Manager when prospect/customer moves from lead to qualified sales opportunity; facilitate the call as needed, to ensure proper transition of potential customer to the Account Manager

  • Review and evaluate Requests for Proposals; assist prospects with drafting appropriate documentation

  • Manage existing accounts

  • Speak and write with ease, clarity, and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience

  • Manage a high-level of activity of both email and phone calls to effectively establish pipeline of appointments for sales team

  • Exhibit strong skills at investigating situations or issues to get relevant information by being adept at asking probing questions to successfully obtain quality information

  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others

  • Sharp, fast learner with a curiosity for technology as well as aptitude in the technology sector

  • Prompt response to all inquiries


  • 4-year degree strongly preferred although not required. Commensurate years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered. If specific to robotic process automation.
