Install, troubleshoot and repair heating, air conditioning and refrigeration units, including chillers, boilers, roof top units, split systems and heat pumps.
Troubleshoot malfunctioning heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems to determine the cause of malfunction.
Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance as needed for the purpose of insuring the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems.
Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer and dispatch.
Must be able to proficiently perform the following tasks: troubleshoot with a digital volt meter, soldering and brazing.
Enter call resolutions on tablet before you leave the customer site.
Be available to work nights and weekends on a rotating basis to service the emergency needs of our customers.
Maintain good working order of company vehicles including refueling and preventative maintenance as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis.
Participate in company and/or vendor provided training opportunities.
Follow established safety procedures and housekeeping practices.
Universal EPA Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years’ experience
Technical School Certificate in HVAC
