Aerotek Controls Specialist in Lexington, Kentucky
We are working with an upstart firm to hire a Controls Technician to perform the following:
Work with company technology team to design, implement and troubleshoot new automated solutions and workflows
Provide hands-on assistance with mechanical and electrical installation of sensors, controls cabinets and related components
Design and install dependencies for automation including brackets, adapters, and cable management
Assist with the onsite collection and presentation of information critical to the design of add on solutions including performance data, mechanical dimensions, and process steps
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Technical degree or certification in Automation, Electrical, Software, Mechanical or Robotics
1-3 years of experience
Ability to implement a wide range of sensors and automated equipment
Experience with discrete (DC) electrical implementations
3D modeling software experience required (Solidworks preferred)
Experience using standard shop equipment (Drill press, Mill, Lathe)
