Krauss Company is currently seeking an experienced and highly energetic HVAC General Manager for its Largo, Florida office.

We are searching for a dynamic HVAC General Manager!

POSITION: You will be employed as­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ a Selling General Manager at Krauss Company. You will report to the President.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsible for oversite of the Krauss Company. You will be assigned to set the standard for professionalism within the team, building and maintaining a high-performance team able to grow market share through a commitment to customer satisfaction, quality and an understanding of the business environment and local community. Represents Krauss Company as a local leader for customers, employees and within the community.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Responsible for Day to Day operations for Krauss Company

  • Meets with existing contract customers and maintains long-term customer relationships with strategically important accounts to influence opportunities

  • Develop and implement an annual financial plan for the companies.

  • Develop new customers for the Company, through the use of the Company prospecting and qualifying tools. This includes prospecting, qualifying, proposing, and selling HVAC/R, Controls and all other services offered by the Company.

  • Identify key accounts and provide service to achieve long term relationships for the company.

  • Ensure the Company is properly staffed to meet the commitments to the Customers

  • Oversee the Operations and Sales Group, provide the direction and leadership needed to ensure customer communications and expectations are being met.

  • Evaluate staff to determine training needs strengths and weaknesses and determine a plan for improvements or replacement.

  • Evaluates Krauss Companies performance in customer satisfaction and provides leadership for performance enhancement and proactive resolution of issues and allocates resources as needed to ensure customer expectations are met.

  • Work with the Senior Management Team, ensures company standards, processes, and tools are used and applied.

  • Analyzes the market and current business performance. Executes growth strategies for sales and operations teams consistent with branch and Building Efficiency business mission and objectives. Understands the business environment of local markets including competition, purchasing and business trends. Accountable for integration of service sales and operational team activity within assigned staffing geography.

  • Reviews bids and estimates for accuracy and oversees bid preparation and operational review meetings.

  • Identify and visit key customers and determining our strategy to obtain their business. This would consist of consulting engineers, building owners and developers who are purchasing and specifying large commercial projects.
