Software Development Engineer in Test III
What will I be responsible for in this job? (brief summary of the role)The Software Development Engineer has advanced experience in software programming, one or more technologies and/or one or more product lines. Leads complex tests / tools design / development and white box testing. Analyze complex code changes for developing test strategy across several products in a highly efficient manner using innovative approaches. Possesses advanced debugging, development, and test/automation code/tools review skills. Often serves as a technical resource to and mentors less experienced personnel. Participates in software architecture design. QE lead on a project.What are the requirements?
Master's / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Typically has 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering and 2+ years of project or team lead experience.
Designs, codes, unit tests, white box tests, and debugs software; writes or participates in code documentation.
Leads and participates in major, assigned software test engineering / framework design projects or assigned aspects of major software engineering design projects from products / customer requirements to functional specifications to coding to unit testing and debugging to software acceptance and release.
Collaborate with development in the design of products to ensure instrumentations are in place allowing to automate the testing and, more in general, to analyze the testability of the software.
Follows development best practices. Socialize and drives new practices.
Acts as subject matter expert in at least one product area to other engineers. Includes activities such as cross-team design sessions, Brown Bags/Tech Talks, integration working groups, etc. May arbitrate technical disagreements.
Is a leader on team – primarily leading by example but may have a more formalized leadership role (team lead, primary developer on module, etc.).What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?

Web UI (JS, WASM)
Automated Integration Testing
NoSQL, SQL databases

Regulatory/Compliance requirements as relates to software development
White box testing
Learns new skills both as directed and self-directed.
Good resource / time management skills.
Has advanced in-depth proficiency in multiple relevant software engineering design processes.
Continues to grow in healthcare IT knowledge while in role.

The base pay range for Colorado residents is $70,585.00 - $130,095.00 plus any relevant incentive pay programs that may be aligned to the role.
