National Dentex Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Lansing, Michigan


National Dentex (NDX) - the leader in the dental manufacturing industry within the US - offers a full spectrum of specialized products, services and technologies to address any dental restoration need. As we continue to grow, we are seeking to add an entry level Shipping & Receiving Inventory position to our local NDX Dental Art Labortatory located in Lansing, MI.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Able to perform all functions of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk.

  • Perform case scheduling.

  • Invoice cases and assist with billing questions/issues.

  • Post payments

  • Scan case paperwork for electronic storage.

  • Receive, open, and disinfect case for production.

  • Pack and ship cases for delivery through local source or national carrier.

  • Print preference notes to match cases.

  • Move cases into production area.

  • Receive and stock inventory items.

  • Assist with inventory count on a regular basis.

  • Clean work area daily.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Legible hand-writing.

  • Data entry and computer skills.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Able to successfully multi-task.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of shipping & receiving / billing experience, or demonstrated ability in required functions.

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

  • Office equipment/computer.

  • Disinfectant process chemicals.

  • Materials utilized by production and maintenance.

  • Additional materials or equipment, as required.

  • Personal protective equipment, as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach.

  • Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions.

  • Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail, and color.
